Lorsque John a besoin d'une chaise, ou une table ou autres objet en bois, c'est simple - il va le créer! John aime utiliser la peinture au lait pour peindre ces meubles ainsi que les différentes cires et huiles.

Whenever he needs a chair, a table or an object of wood he would make one. John also likes to use milk paint with all its old age techniques with wax and oil.
Chaise longue, style Adirondack/ Adirondack style garden chair
La chaise a été peint avec la peinture au lait, couleur Typewriter de la gamme Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint. La sous-couche a été peinte avec Curio, une couleur marron, de la même gamme.
The chair was painted in Miss Mustard Seed’s Typewriter, an off-black colour. Underneath the off-black is one coat of brown colour called Curio.

Finition avec deux couches de huile de chanvre.The chair was then given two coats of hemp oil.

Table de jardin crée à partir d'un bois blanc de Scandinavie. John a peint la table avec la peinture au lait, couleur blanc cassé (Ironstone). Il a ensuite appliqué 3 couches d'huile de lin et térébenthine pour la préserver de l'humidité.
The tabel is made of solid 45 mm thick white wood from Scandinavia. John painted the table with Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint, Ironstone, a kind of off-white. To preserve against humidity as a garden table John applied three layers of linseed oil and turpentine.

After some sanding it was painted with Typewriter. MMSMP's White wax was used to obtain greyish hair and only furniture wax on the face, and hemp oil was used as final finish.
